Allagash Curieux & Southern Tier Pumking

Beertography of the Day - Friday September 16th

Today's photo comes to us from Richie Wilson, the Senior Broadcast Producer for Howard Stern's Howard TV. If you've been following this site recently, you know that we've featured a few Stern staffers' beertography including Richie's fiance Rachel Fine and former Howard TV employee John Suscovich aka The Foodcyclist who I also interviewed earlier this year. Richie's submission features him enjoying the last drops of the Allagash Curieux along with fellow Stern show member incomparable Richard Christy who is finishing off a Southern Tier Pumking, his faaaaaavorite.

Thanks to Richie and Richard for their contribution!

NOTE: this week there will be no separate Poll posting. Get your voting on RIGHT NOW over in the right column. Polls open until Monday afternoon.

If you would like to have your photos featured on the site, please email them to beertography@gmail.com. Or if you're on the go, you can tag your tweet with #beertography and/or mention me @beertography.

Beertography of the Day - August 3rd

Today's Beertography comes to us from John "Sussy" Suscovich aka The Foodcyclist. You may remember John from my interview with him just before he and his wife set out on their gargantuan journey. His photo was submitted from his stop at Schlafly Tap Room in St. Louis, MO. Yes, they've already made it to Missouri! That alone is already beyond impressive, but check out their website to see how much further they have to go.

Don't forget, I'll be posting 1 photo submission per day then at the end of the week we'll have a poll to determine everyone's favorite and that photo will be crowned Beertography of the Week.

Don't forget to email your beertography to beertography@gmail.com or you can just tag your tweet with #beertography and/or mention me @beertography.

Beertography of the Week - June 1st

This week's Beertography of the Week comes to us from the fine folks at BeerCycling and continues our bike, beer & organic theme from last week's FoodCyclist feature. This has to be among the most unique of our user submissions so far and definitely the best to feature real live frogs. For those of you unfamiliar with HUB, it stands for Hopworks Urban Brewery and features an organic line of craft beers based out of Portland, OR. The beer being guarded by Kermit there is their fantastic Secession Cascadian Dark Ale which I highly recommend you seek out if you haven't had it already.

Were you inspired by the FoodCyclist's ambitious bike trip around the globe? You should probably check out BeerCycling and all of their beer-themed bicycle trips including one in BELGIUM! It sounds amazing.

Check out BeerCycling on the web or follow them on twitter.

Don't forget to email your beertography to beertography@gmail.com or you can just tag your tweet with #beertography and I'll save it for next week's entry.

Biking For a Cause...and For Beer! An Interview with The Foodcyclist

John "Sussy" Suscovich aka The Foodcyclist recently walked away from his full-time job as a light board operator for Howard Stern to ride his bicycle around the world, promoting organic farming and healthy foods. After hearing about his trip on The Howard Stern Show and myself being a fan of all things organic, John's trip really intrigued me and I began following him on twitter. Soon after, he was tweeting from Yards, Victory and Flying Dog breweries... He was doing a whirlwind Northeast brewery tour and all from his bike! Interest: piqued.
